Edinburg, NY – 22 October 2026 – The Essex County Sheriff’s Department arrested Josef Marris of Westport on October 15, 2026, and charged him with two counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property after he allegedly stole Constantino for Congress campaign signs.
Marris, an avowed communist, Antifa, and trans activist, was captured on camera stealing Constantino campaign signs while driving a vehicle owned by his employer, East Branch Organics. East Branch Organics fired him after the photo surfaced.
Josef Marris is a far-left extremist, communist, and Antifa activist whose social media is painted with Antifa, transgender, and communist imagery.
In April 2023, Marris made his allegiances public by posting to his Facebook profile the three-arrows symbol: the emblem modern Antifa has adopted at riots and street clashes across the country. The symbol dates back to Germany’s Iron Front, a militant street-fighting organization of the 1930s, and today’s far left flies it as a badge of its self-appointed war on anyone it brands a “fascist,” a label it applies to every Republican and conservative voter in America.
Marris posted this version of the three-arrows symbol with the colors of the transgender flag, fusing Antifa’s street militancy with extremist transgender activism in one image and making his beliefs and motives clear.
The Three Arrows symbol has been identified by the far-left Polish organization Rok Antyfaszystowski as being “employed by a wide range of [...] socialist, communist and anarchistic movements and organizations.”
“My campaign has lost more than $100,000 to sign theft and vandalism. There are now multiple attempts to intimidate my supporters by people who are clearly pro-crime and pro-violence,” said Anthony Constantino. “The media needs to stop pretending this is a both sides problem.”
